Mt. Deo Tibba Expedition

Overview

Mt. Deo Tibba(6,001 mts.) lies in the Pir-Panjal range of mountains located in Manali valley above Jagatsukh village. According to the local belief, it is the assembly point of all the gods. Its a perfect peak for all the experienced trekkers as well as the mountaineering course qualified persons who wanted to attempt 6,000 mts. Peaks. This expedition gives you a glimpse of the beautiful deo tibba valley. You can enjoy the beautiful campsites, lovely trails, nice views, and a giant waterfall. After the base camp expedition turns into a serious mode with long walks on snow trail, some serious technical sections which you’ll have to negotiate with all the technical gears like ice axe, climbing boots, crampons, harness, jumars, etc. There are majorly two technical sections, one is the approach towards camp 1 i.e., Duhangan Col and the other one is the gully after the summit camp. Rest the whole expedition is of average difficulty. Overall it’s one of the best options to choose from, as your first mountaineering expedition in the Himalayas.
